Overview

As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for partnering with our key stakeholders to identify key project requirements and deliverables for technology projects that support our Technology Operations organization. You’ll have keen understanding of the team’s systems, capabilities and technologies so that you can analyze and improve processes and requirements. We’ll lean on your attention to detail; you’ll prepare project documentation according to SDLC standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide process support and solutions for multiple moderate to complex projects within the Tech Ops technology team.

  • Lead meetings with Technology and Business Partners to gather needs and requirements, and assist in planning and design solutions based on those requirements.

  • Create simple workflow models and process maps based on input from multiple sources

  • Identifies hurdles and aligns processes to identify solutions.

  • Monitors compliance an adherence to principles ensuring work is within project scope.

  • Makes decisions within guidelines & policy

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration and/or equivalent work experience required

Knowledge/Skills

Required

  • At least 2 years of IT experience within the last 5 years

  • At least 1 year of experience fulfilling a BA role in the Agile Development project lifecycle

  • Ability to lead meetings between Technology and Tech Ops to solve problems, document requirements and business solutions

  • At least 2 years of documentation experience specifically with systems interaction, user workflow processes, business requirements, knowledge articles and user manuals

  • At least 1 year of using experiential design to define business requirements.

  • Basic understanding of Agile/Iterative Development documentation practices

  • Ability to encourage teamwork with Integrity and Trust

  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to identify solutions

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in supply chain business domain

  • Previous experience working in airlines/aviation industry

  • Previous experience in analytics systems/solutions
