Calling all Business Analysts for Digital Products - United Airlines is Growing! United Airlines is growing faster than ever, and we need talented Digital Products Business Analysts and Sr. Business Analysts to assist in designing digital experiences that will enhance the travel experience for all of United's customers. A Digital Products Principal Business Analyst is a member of a focused product team that performs analysis using techniques that enable a highly iterative delivery approach of continuous requirements identification and just-in-time definition of requirements. This role helps lead people and projects while supporting the product vision, strategy, and setting product priorities.

As a Business Analyst, you will be working with motivated teams on highly visible and valuable customer-facing digital products. This role requires an excellent communicator with outstanding analytical skills in order to collaborate with business users, technology teams and leadership in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates story maps and user stories from interactions with stakeholders to support iterative delivery

  • Leads, drives and delivers key product enhancements and new capabilities

  • Facilitates agile ceremonies (ie. ideation, story mapping, planning, kickoffs, estimation sessions), helps bridge communication across teams, and serves as a subject matter expert

  • Analyzes data and collaborates with insights teams to ensure feature alignment with desired outcome

  • Collaborates with User Experience team to create prototypes, define user stories, and contributes to our customer digital experiences

  • Contributes to overall definition of strategy and scope, including working with business stakeholders to understand ‘why’ we are working on something before development begins

  • Identifies opportunities across products, processes, and digital experiences


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

  • Ecommerce experience

  • Ability to understand, communicate and engage effectively with multiple stakeholders and interactions

  • Strong problem-solving, listening, written and verbal communication, and decision-making skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


  • 1-2 Agile/Scrum experience
