The Pricing and Revenue Management Team helps us run a successful business by predicting consumer demand and setting up pricing structures.

Job overview and responsibilities

Drive incremental revenue and secure competitive advantage by keeping United's Pricing and Revenue Management systems ahead of the industry. Support the creation and improvement of Pricing and Revenue management technologies and systems by providing subject-matter expertise. Coordinate cross-functional implementation of systems changes with all P/RM market groups, CIEO, IT, and other stakeholders.

  • Act as a resource for P/RM market groups to investigate and resolve core support issues, coordinating with IT when necessary

  • Apply subject-matter expertise to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of team projects by analyzing data and detecting patterns with minimal supervision

  • Lead user testing for system enhancements, collect feedback from users, and deliver findings

  • Participate in discussion with stakeholders both inside and outside the department and transform feedback into business requirements for systems development

  • Support documentation efforts of P/RM systems and business processes

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, industrial engineering, operations research, or a similar quantitative field

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in revenue management, pricing, operations research, or a similar analytical field

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, intermediate SQL skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Familiarity with at least one of United's core pricing or revenue management systems
