Sales-North America

Our Sales team is the largest revenue-generation department at United. They work closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, and corporate clients

Job overview and responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing the operations of the United for Business Marketing team, including high-level planning, coordination, and process, executive reporting, and customer touch points

  • Facilitate the marketing process-intake, synthesis, coordination with team members, timelines, deliverables, and report out

  • Manage editorial calendar for all United for Business channels

  • In conjunction with stakeholders in and around sales, aggregate and deliver an executive dashboard with project highlights, metrics and learnings

  • Work closely with Events, Promotions and Product to ensure all activities support Marketing's goals of lead acquisition or customer growth/retention

  • Coordinate customer update forums that deliver timely, relevant and engaging content

  • Deliver cadence of surveys or touchpoints to successfully stay in tune with customer sentiment and offer quantifiable guidance to marketing and associated teams

  • Build and maintain resources that make request-for-proposal completion as turn-key as possible

  • Manage the United for Business Marketing budget, including monthly reconciliation and day-to-day expense management

  • Assist in short and long-term budget planning

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in leading cross-departmental projects

  • Airline, marketing, or sales background

  • Successfully project manage multiple large-scale, high visibility initiatives

  • Marketing operations

  • Microsoft Office with emphasis on presentation building

  • Ability to articulate actionable conclusions from multiple data points and projects

  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to develop and implement plans

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible and agile to adapt to changing and evolving business requirements and objectives

  • Advanced written, presentation, interpersonal, and people-influencing skills

  • Enjoys working across multiple business units and functional areas to achieve goals

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Experience with B-2-B marketing

  • Working experience managing and reconciling budgets

  • Marketing and customer insights technology
