Supervisor - Airport Operations Move Team - DEN

Job overview and responsibilities

Responsible for helping the Move Team Managers with the management of the Move team.

Standard Operating Procedures:

  • Maintain current understanding of work scope and develop SOPs for the Move Team employees

  • Assist with hiring/training the Move Team employees and ensuring they are current with their skills in accordance to United and DEN requirements

Safety, Security and Regulatory Compliance Training:

  • Manage Move Team programs and initiatives to comply with DOT,FAA and corporate regulations

  • Manage real time training, intervention and administration with regards to partnership with Ramp, City, and UAX

  • Ensure that employees are compliant and maintain compliance with all mandatory training requirements

  • Provide feedback and documentation to Move team Manager to support regularly scheduled performance reviews with employees and manage a high-level of work standard

  • Collaborate with cross-divisional leadership in definition of and resolution to AC move related problems/issues


  • High School Diploma, GED or the educational equivalent required

  • Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent work experience preferred


  • Minimum of three years of airline operational experience in a hub environment preferred

  • Previous experience working in a union environment preferred

  • Previous Leadership/Supervisory experience preferred


  • Must be flexible, willing and able to work any shift in a 24-hour/7-day-a-week operation including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
