Job overview and responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Manager Applications Development position is to lead a team in the development, implementation and maintenance of BI Analytic solutions and technical systems.

  • Lead the team for gaining and maintaining alignment of delivery success criteria with business partners

  • Mange for effective project management and delivery of work requests and projects within committed budget, schedule and quality for individual projects while also meeting overall department performance goals

  • Lead for identifying needs, securing commitments and monitoring progress of deliverables from internal and external service provider teams

  • Accountable for ensuring technology solutions comply with architectural standards

  • Responsible for communication of progress to senior IT and Business leadership

  • Develop goals and team development plan for the team

  • Provide cost estimates and business case updates

  • Coordinate with application support team for troubleshooting and resolution of any application issues


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or commensurate industry experience

  • 3-5 years of technical lead / management experience in an IT Analytical area.

  • Data/dimensional modelling and strong SQL skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplined, cross-functional technical organization with matrixes reporting relationship.

  • Excellent technical skills in C# development of web API’s using the latest frameworks such as .Net Core.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Development tools such as TFS, Visual Studios, and SQL server databases.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Migration of monolithic applications to micro service architecture experience

  • Ability to implement and support BI and analytical solutions

  • Application development, multiple major project delivering of med-large scale projects/programs

  • Cloud migration experience

  • Understanding of budgeting and forecasting process
